Ronnie Greer had an idea... and this is the result. With a lot of effort and help from Quality Farm and Fleet Ronnie Greer organized the first Cruise In in the history of Marion Virginia. There is no car club in Marion so everyone was surprised that so many cars showed up. Many of the cars had never been seen by the locals and we were all happy with the results. Plans are to have the event every Saturday night between 5 pm and 11 pm. These pictures are from the first night.

At this writing we have met three Saturday nights and everyone is having a great time. On the second night (September 1, 2001) we had a D.J. and oldies beach music. Also a drawing was held for many nice door prizes and finished with a 50/50 drawing with the winner getting half of the pot that had been collected for raffle tickets.

This page is being constructed quickly so don't expect any fancy features but they will come when we get better organized. There is a meeting planned September 11th at 7 pm at Bottoms Up to organize a local car club, something that is really needed in our area.
